NaNoWriMo. Peculiar word, isn't it? It stands for National Novel Writing Month.

This November, I am joining the ranks of the insane and writing a novel. Yes. An entire novel. Written in a month. Because clearly I'm insane. (Let's see how many times I can use the word "insane" in one post, shall we?)

Well, not quite. See, I struggle with perfectionism. Everything must be perfect, and if it's not...then the world explodes, or something along those lines. This is my way of silencing my "Inner Editor" (as Chris Baty, founder of NaNoWriMo calls it). This is my way to finish something that isn't perfect and to have that be okay. I'm really excited, and really nervous.

Here goes nothing...

Yeah, I know. It's a corny title. Anyway, welcome to my personal book blog. In the interest of keeping my other blogs relatively clutter-free (and because designing new blogs is fun), I've started this one. Stay tuned for book reviews, writing (if I get the guts to share it) and other interesting tidbits.
